Dave and his family, who now live in Philadelphia, originally came to the United States from Jamaica. Dave decided to apply to Penn after participating in Penn’s Educational Talent Search program for high school students. “Because of my early exposure to Penn, and all the time and resources invested in my education and well-being, I could not imagine going elsewhere,” he says. Dave is extremely involved in campus life as director of finance for the Caribbean American Student Association and vice president of the Wharton Undergraduate Finance Club.
