When she visited Penn the summer before her senior year of high school, Diana fell in love on the spot, and decided to apply early decision. At the time, she was sure she would become a veterinarian, but after being exposed to a variety of academic fields and career possibilities at Penn, she shifted her focus to pursue software engineering. Diana turned out to be a natural—entering as many hackathons as she could and winning awards at every one of them. She was able to land a summer internship with Facebook, and by the end of that experience, she had received a full-time job offer for after she graduates.
