Hunter, ENG'22

Hunter has always been interested in learning how things are made and how they work, so majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics was the perfect fit for him. Since then, Hunter has been able to take his own desire to learn and pivoted to helping others. This past summer Hunter interned at Khan Academy. During his internship, which occurred during a pivotal time as many schools were engaged in remote learning due to the pandemic, Hunter had the privilege of improving the teacher onboarding experience. His work aimed to help teachers utilize the tools they need faster to maximize the time they can spend directly with their students. Hunter found this experience to be incredibly fulfilling and hopes to continue improving the K-12 educational experience once he graduates.
